Ken Garff Automotive is currently looking for a talented, experienced attorney to act as Associate General Counsel - LITIGATION who aligns with our core values and performs with Respect, Integrity, Growth, Humility and Teamwork, and who will provide the highest level of legal work, communication, and professionalism.
POSITION SUMMARY: You will oversee litigation and dispute resolution activities for Ken Garff Automotive, its dealerships located in 9 states, and other Garff-affiliated companies reporting to our General Counsel.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
· Manage pre-litigation and litigation activities and processes for the company and its many dealerships
· Review, investigate and resolve pre-litigation demands, disputes and conflicts
· Actively coordinate with and monitor outside litigation counsel at all stages in pre-litigation and litigation matters; review and approve outside counsel invoices
· Review, investigate and advise on regulatory inquires, audits, disputes, etc.
· Support Risk Management team on worker’s compensation, personal injury and property damage claims
· Support Ken Garff affiliated companies with managing pre-litigation, litigation and regulatory matters
· Report to the Company’s General Counsel and assist on other legal matters as requested
Here’s what you’ll need:
· Law degree and active bar license
· 7+ years of experience as a practicing litigator, preferably in employment and/or consumer litigation
· Strong time-management and organizational skills
· Attention to detail with focus on accuracy and efficiency
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Self-motivation with ability to be flexible
