As part of the Maxton plant finance team, you are an integral team member that provides supply chain-related financial insights, planning and performance support. You deliver detailed analysis to guide manufacturing, supply chain and investment decisions, assess future optimization opportunities, and analyze actual and forecasted financial performance. You proactively highlight performance risks and opportunities and partner with the appropriate internal and external teams to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.


The Maxton Associate FP&A Manager partners with the plant teams to accurately deliver the site AOP through accurate projection cycles, AOP build, variance analysis, and the ability to effectively communicate and work with the site teams to actions that drive financial improvements.  
The successful candidate must be able to work effectively within the supply chain matrix.  The candidate will be expected to partner with site leadership, operations, continuous improvement, finance, procurement, and supply chain leadership.  


What you will do...
Maintain adequate system of internal controls and ensure general ledger accounts are accurately stated. Ensure the delivery of the plant’s financial commitments including AOP and Enabler attainment. Collaborate with leadership to create, implement, and execute corrective action plans for unfavorable variances. Provide understanding regarding monthly financial results and review cost projections. 


Responsibilities:
•    Forecasting & Budgeting: Accurately forecast future spend, a leader in the annual budgeting process and generating financial reports to aid in decision making
•    Modeling & Reporting: Use, develop and refine financial models that support key business decisions such as product line extensions and capital spend decisions
•    Collaboration: Work closely with business partners and senior leadership to improve performance and maintain and improve model design
•    Process Improvement:  Continuously improve processes for budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to enhance efficiency and accuracy
•    AP/AR:  Performed centrally, but this position will ensure that GR/IR’s are processed timely and resolve exceptions
•    Month End Close:  Post standard and ad hoc month end entries as needed and analyze g/l accounts for accuracy
•    Variance Analysis:  Provide regular updates on performance against forecast, identifying variance drivers
•    Technical Skills:  Proficient in Excel, SAP and Power BI

•    Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
•    Drives strategic business analysis that includes short term and long-term value creation.
•    Communication Skills:  Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to all levels within the organization from hourly employees to senior leadership
•    Must be comfortable dealing with multiple agendas and driving decisions through influencing without authority.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple business functions.
•    Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial principles, accounting and corporate finance adhering to Campbells standards and best practices
•    Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
•    Leadership Experience:  Experience leading financial projects
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities.  Timeline to action may be tight and require significant cross-functional coordination.


What you will bring to the table… (Must Have)
•    Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
•    Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the CPG industry 
•    Experience in day-to-day manufacturing environment. 
•    Strong cost accounting skills with experience troubleshooting complex BOM’s and product routings 
•    Business partnering skills – with an uncanny ability to explain complex financials in a succinct, logical and straightforward manner
•    Dependable advice – ability to influence and have the confidence to challenge and push for value and returns
•    Strong problem solving and analytical abilities including prior financial modeling
•    Superior analytical skills and a demonstrable track record of driving financial success and ROI
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$84,600-$121,700

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
