The individual in the Associate Formulation Scientist position will support formulation research through sample preparation and characterization. They will capture scientific information in electronic lab notebook promptly. **What You’ll Do:** • Assist with exploration, proof of concept, and development of novel formulation and delivery system technologies and concepts for new and registered active ingredients • Assist with intellectual property (IP) capture and research report writing and presentation • Support routine sample preparation and characterization • Compliance with laboratory safety procedures **Other responsibilities include:** • Be able to run and operate sample characterization instrumentation • Consistently applies sound scientific methods to solve technical problems. • Assist with qualifying new active ingredient and raw material sources and supports shelf life date extensions for existing products. **What Skills You Need:** • Prior experience in research or manufacturing/engineering. • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. • Experience in a chemistry lab is desirable. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
