SUMMARY This position is accountable for the timely research and resolution of merchandise vendor disputes and inquiries in order to ensure proper payment and/or understanding of terms set forth in the vendor agreements. This includes fostering strong partnerships with the merchandise vendor, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Merchandising throughout the resolution process. RESPONSIBILITIES + Responsible for handling all aspects of individual vendor disputes + Participate and contribute to the key initiatives of the department + Reconciliation of large vendor's monthly statements + Assist in department level process improvement projects + Analyze reporting to identify vendor noncompliance + Create and publish departmental metrics as assigned REQUIREMENTS + Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. + Area of Study: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration + Years of Experience: Two to three years. + Type of Experience: Relevant work experience + Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills + Other/Preferred: Strong human relations, analytical, oral and written communication skills AutoZone, and its subsidiary, ALLDATA are equal opportunity employers.
