Description We are looking for a skilled Associate Attorney with 1-2+ years of experience to join our client's boutique law firm team in Haverford, Pennsylvania, on the Philadelphia Mainline. In this role, you will handle complex federal and commercial litigation cases, representing Fortune 500 transportation clients in matters that often involve cutting-edge legal issues. This position offers opportunities for growth, collaboration, and high-level case management in a supportive and flexible work environment. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategic case plans through detailed legal and factual analysis. • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal memoranda. • Conduct and defend depositions while managing discovery disputes effectively. • Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings, advocating for favorable outcomes. • Collaborate closely with clients and co-counsel to align on case strategies and objectives. • Research and apply federal laws to diverse subject matters, including transportation and construction disputes. • Provide guidance on mitigating risks and resolving complex legal challenges. • Stay updated on federal litigation trends to address emerging legal issues. • Contribute to client development through effective communication and relationship-building. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, with federal litigation preferred. • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and drafting high-quality legal documents. • Strong oral advocacy skills and confidence in courtroom settings. • Ability to manage cases independently from inception to resolution. • Willingness to learn and adapt to transportation law and related areas. • Active bar license in good standing. • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. • Collaborative mindset and commitment to achieving client-focused results.
