Responsibilities Promotes a positive and productive work culture by ensuring staff are aware of the agency’s mission and core values; leading culture and retention committee meetings, and serving as a role modelReviews critical incident reports, develops action and safety plansEvaluates agency activities and services from a risk management perspective, ensuring risks and liability situations are mitigated and reported as requiredSupervises the implementation of human resources programs to ensure appropriate employee selection, training, development, recognition, and dischargeEnsures background checks, initial and annual training, and personnel file contents are compliantSupervises the implementation of fiscal processes and loss control programs to ensure appropriate allocation and use of financial resourcesApproves expenditures, participates in developing and implementing the budgetProvides oversight to programmatic operations and service delivery to ensure quality of services provided, and to ensure compliance with licensing, contractual, legal, and regulatory requirementsRepresents operation with outside agencies to promote new business development and a positive imageParticipates in provider meetings with referral and funding sources and establishes positive working relationships with key stakeholdersParticipates in the development and execution of the operations financial goals to include census forecasts and ensures revenue, EBIDTA, and persons served goals are metStrategizes, creates action plans, and completes MOR reports to ensure barriers to census and growth are identified and eliminatedProvides oversight to AR to ensure timely collection of revenue, including reviewing financial status reports, attending SVP and Critical Accounts Calls, ensuring billing and authorizations are completed and submitted in a timely manner, and ensuring case changes affecting revenue are submitted in a timely mannerEnsures compliance with quality outcomesBuilds, develops, and effectively manages the operation’s Directors and Program Managers and their respective teams, optimizing individual and team performance though effective leadership, mentoring, and trainingProvides supervision and oversight to placement preservation specialists and strategizes with the team to maintain placementsProvides supervision and oversight to staff and foster parent training program, ensuring a trauma informed approach and compliance with required annual training requirementsApproves quality foster homes and ensures compliance with RORP plan and home approval goalsActively participates in data-driven recruitment meetings, monitoring recruitment activities and strategizingEnsures that the management team maintains timely, open and effective communication regarding persons served and daily censusParticipates in licensing inspectionsEnsures Plan of Corrections are properly completed, corrected, and are submitted within identified timeframeConducts monthly site visits and client chart reviews for accuracy and complianceCompletes license renewal applications, including the monitoring of current license expiration datesOther duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related fieldA minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with the proven ability to effectively manage systems, processes, and peopleA minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experiencePrior experience providing supports and services to individuals with child in the child welfare systemWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning services to individuals in foster care About our Line of Business ResCare Community Living, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, has five decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disability.
