Responsibilities
+ Promotes a positive and productive work culture by ensuring staff are aware of the agency’s mission and core values; leading culture and retention committee meetings, and serving as a role model
+ Reviews critical incident reports, develops action and safety plans
+ Evaluates agency activities and services from a risk management perspective, ensuring risks and liability situations are mitigated and reported as required
+ Supervises the implementation of human resources programs to ensure appropriate employee selection, training, development, recognition, and discharge
+ Ensures background checks, initial and annual training, and personnel file contents are compliant
+ Supervises the implementation of fiscal processes and loss control programs to ensure appropriate allocation and use of financial resources
+ Approves expenditures, participates in developing and implementing the budget
+ Provides oversight to programmatic operations and service delivery to ensure quality of services provided, and to ensure compliance with licensing, contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
+ Represents operation with outside agencies to promote new business development and a positive image
+ Participates in provider meetings with referral and funding sources and establishes positive working relationships with key stakeholders
+ Participates in the development and execution of the operations financial goals to include census forecasts and ensures revenue, EBIDTA, and persons served goals are met
+ Strategizes, creates action plans, and completes MOR reports to ensure barriers to census and growth are identified and eliminated
+ Provides oversight to AR to ensure timely collection of revenue, including reviewing financial status reports, attending SVP and Critical Accounts Calls, ensuring billing and authorizations are completed and submitted in a timely manner, and ensuring case changes affecting revenue are submitted in a timely manner
+ Ensures compliance with quality outcomes
+ Builds, develops, and effectively manages the operation’s Directors and Program Managers and their respective teams, optimizing individual and team performance though effective leadership, mentoring, and training
+ Provides supervision and oversight to placement preservation specialists and strategizes with the team to maintain placements
+ Provides supervision and oversight to staff and foster parent training program, ensuring a trauma informed approach and compliance with required annual training requirements
+ Approves quality foster homes and ensures compliance with RORP plan and home approval goals
+ Actively participates in data-driven recruitment meetings, monitoring recruitment activities and strategizing
+ Ensures that the management team maintains timely, open and effective communication regarding persons served and daily census
+ Participates in licensing inspections
+ Ensures Plan of Corrections are properly completed, corrected, and are submitted within identified timeframe
+ Conducts monthly site visits and client chart reviews for accuracy and compliance
+ Completes license renewal applications, including the monitoring of current license expiration dates
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
+ A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with the proven ability to effectively manage systems, processes, and people
+ A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
+ Prior experience providing supports and services to individuals with child in the child welfare system
+ Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning services to individuals in foster care

USD $83,000.00 / Year
