This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
The Associate Engineer will help optimize the interconnected components of a manufacturing system. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field. We seek a professional who will collaborate with senior professionals to contribute to planning, designing and estimating time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of our structures, facilities, systems and components.
Key AccountabilitiesFollow prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.Contribute to designing and improving manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceAvailability to be "on call" as needed.Preferred QualificationsExperience with grain handling or oilseed processing.Experience working with Lean Six Sigma.Experience working with an enterprise resource planning platform, such as SAP.Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).#LI-DD1 #themuse #FGB
