Associate Engineer, Technical Service City Ciudad de Mexico State/Province Distrito Federal Overview:

Associate Engineer, Technical Service (MX) will provide technical knowledge regarding processing Celanese´s plastics and offers technical support during and after the sales process to the Celanese´s customers located in Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Associate Engineer, Technical Service (MX ) major activities are:

Conduct material sample trials for new or share shift opportunities.Troubleshoot processing problems or quality problems.Conduct process design of experiments (DOE) for optimization.Conduct process studies with Celanese molds, or customer molds.Conduct mold and part design reviews.Conduct operator and engineer education and training. Qualifications: Local based in Central Mexico area and availability to travel in the country.Solid knowledge about processing of engineering plastics (POM, PBT and PA) and/or elastomers.Solid knowledge in injection molding process.Knowledge in troubleshooting thermoplastic injection molding process.Knowledge in scientific molding.Knowledge about molds and peripherical equipment.Understanding of the development design process of plastic products.Teamwork, proactive and results-driven.Bilingual (Spanish as mother tongue, fluent in written and spoken English).To have a high level of ownership, adaptable, professional, courteous and motivated to work well individually or as a member of a team.Write technical reports.

Required years of experience

2-4 years of experience in processing engineering plastics (POM, PBT, PA and PP) and/or elastomers.2-4 years of experience in the injection process and equipment related.2-4 years of experience in troubleshooting of injection molding issues.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree required, in the area of Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial engineering.
