Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Electrical Mechanic to join our F-15 EPAWSS Operations team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform on and off aircraft electrical modification to electrical wiring and system componentsPerform complex connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables and fiber optic wiring Understand wire handling and routing instructionsPerform sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repairAdhere to government and company procedural guidance, perform assembly, installation, visual inspection of physical characteristics, modification of wire bundles & electrical assemblies, operational and quality checks of aircraft workTroubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft electrical and environmental systems at the organizational or depot maintenance levelPerform aircraft bench and/or flight line operational testing and troubleshooting in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directivesPerform assembly, installation, check-out physical characteristics, operational testing and modification of wire bundles in the testing, development and modification of aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directivesResponsible for the proper performance of assignments and the prudent handling of product, tools and equipmentUse precision measuring instruments, gauges, tools, etc., to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirementsFamiliar with Hazardous Energy and Lock Out /Tag systems applications to ensure working environment is deemed safe for access and on the job performanceAble to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projectsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in aircraft electrical modification to electrical wiring and system components3+ years of experience with shop practices, electrical/electronic theories and systems3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repairAbility to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirementsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with F-15/Fighter or Depot Level/Modification maintenanceAbility to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipmentDrug Free Workplace:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Starting Pay Rate: $75,000 / $36.06 per hour
Additive Pay:
$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
