Job Description
Our client is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager seeking to provide clients excess return at every point along the risk-reward spectrum from investment grade to private equity with a focus on three investing strategies: yield, hybrid, and equity.
This candidate will part of the Equity Performance and Analytics team within the broader Strategy & Analytics group of Global Business Finance. This role will support the analysis, monitoring, and reporting across our clients Equity segment, with a primary focus on the Sustainability & Infrastructure Group (SIG). Across asset classes, our client targets to deploy $50 billion into clean energy and climate investments through 2027 and sees the opportunity to deploy more than $100 billion by 2030.
The candidates main responsibility will be to oversee the process of collecting, analyzing, and reporting fund management and outcomes, while enhancing the overall analytics framework for the Equity Funds. He or she will also be heavily involved with modeling and managing the tracking of asset sell-down activity to understand and communicate the implication to the fund and firm, as well as all aspects of portfolio monitoring activities/metrics.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ownership and management of future cash flow projections and overall outcomes analysis to accurately determine future fund performance.
- Own portfolio review process, fund outcomes analysis and portfolio review follow-ups in addition to managing the investment process (e.g., deal team updates, ad hoc analyses, etc.).
- Construct gross to net outcomes, including cases for internal distribution; maintain live fund model to better forecast carried interest.
- Key driver of forecasting and variance analysis for detailed firm P&L revenue and expense items.
- Coordinate with fund controllers on PII/DNI for exact carry calculations, escrow analysis and fund liquidations.
- Support strategic initiatives and fundraising with modeling and various ad-hoc requests related to the portfolio.
- Partner with other CFO teams, COOs and/or broader firm leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
- Act as a thought leader to make strategic adjustments to underlying technology needed for outcomes analysis / fund analytics; support the development of strategic systems (Equity Data Warehouse, etc.).

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelors degree from a top undergraduate institution.
- At least 6+ years of analytics experience in financial services, investment management or asset management.
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures and investment lifecycles.
- Experience in iLEVEL or any other portfolio monitoring systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent quantitative analytical and modeling skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience driving outcome analysis for Sustainability or Infrastructure funds, platforms, or initiatives.
- Experience with Pyramid Analytics platform
