Associate Director II - Associate Director of Communications & Recruitment
Requisition: 202500255S Occupational Category (Staff Positions Only): Professional Hiring Salary: Monthly-Staff Department: Office of the Dean - College of Education General Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field. Four years of experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day operations of a department with the oversight of the Senior Director. Performs highly complex managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning in the Office of the Dean – College of Education. Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Directs program activities of staff supporting communications and recruitment initiatives within the College of Education. Assists in developing and implementing strategic goals and objectives for communications and recruitment programs. Oversees and approves schedules, priorities, and standards to support communications and recruitment goals. Coordinates the development and maintenance of tracking systems and databases for communications and recruitment efforts. Implements and evaluates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with institutional and programmatic standards. Identifies areas for improvement in communications and recruitment operations and recommends actionable changes. Monitors budget expenditures and assists in planning resource allocation for related programs. Oversees the preparation and review of management, productivity, and communication reports to support data-informed decision-making. Manages communications and recruitment programs with a focus on continuous process improvement and measurable outcomes. Develops and applies evaluation techniques to assess the effectiveness of communications and recruitment strategies. Acts with delegated authority in the absence of the Senior Director, making operational decisions as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
