Associate Director - Consumer Marketing

Job Summary:

The Associate Director Consumer Marketing is responsible for accelerating the reach of Lilly medicines to patients by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the ability to leverage data analytics to inform decision-making. The role will lead efforts to expand consumer marketing capabilities by identifying, leading, and building industry-leading consumer capabilities and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive consumer-directed marketing plans in close partnership with local brand teams and global colleagues that align with the business's strategic objectives.Execute with excellence across priority consumer initiatives.Develop and deliver consumer campaigns that lead to customer satisfaction and trust, while seeking business opportunities.Lead a growing consumer team over time, as well as cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, brand building, and consumer engagement initiatives.Utilize market research and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.Collaborate with brand teams, communications, medical affairs, and market access teams to optimize product positioning and messaging.Manage consumer marketing budgets and assess the effectiveness of consumer-directed marketing campaigns.Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.Develop the awareness and trust of the Lilly Masterbrand across the Italy hub.Develop consumer partnerships to increase both brand awareness and our target markets.Develop, together with the dedicated function in PRA, B2B retail partnerships/ecosystem to increase both brand awareness and our target markets.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in consumer marketing, preferably from a consumer product goods, tech, etc (non-pharma).Proven experience in consumer marketing with the ability to understand customer insights and create culturally relevant, engaging content that meets country regulations.Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing decision-making; understands leading and lagging metrics.Excellent communication and leadership skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, decision-making, and leading without authority.Experience in organizational change management and the ability to influence senior leaders for key strategic decisions.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
