- Lead and manage the design development of bridges, tunnels, and related transportation structures across all design phases.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction on major infrastructure projects, ensuring innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Supervise and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high-quality design output that meets client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Review and approve design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international design codes, including MOT, AASHTO, BS, and Eurocodes.
- Support business development activities including preparation of technical proposals, bid submissions, and participation in client presentations.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality standards, providing regular progress reports to senior leadership.
- Provide expert advice and resolution on complex technical issues during design and construction stages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering bridge and tunnel design projects, preferably within large-scale infrastructure programs.
- Strong working experience in Saudi Arabia with familiarity in local authority requirements and permitting processes.
- Membership of a recognized professional institution (e.g., MICE, PE, PMP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in design tools such as MIDAS, LUSAS, SOFiSTiK, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and schedules.
