Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Associate Director, WHC Admissions and Enrollment. - Jupiter, FL.
Summary of responsibilities:
+ Leads and supervises a team of 3 admissions professionals, maintaining open and ongoing communication with constituents in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions on the Boca Raton campus and faculty/staff on the Jupiter Campus.
+ Manage strategic planning and reporting around the enrollment objectives of the Wilkes Honors College, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and Florida Atlantic University.
+ Leads recruitment efforts for prospective students through on- and off-campus events, including high school visits and college fairs. Cultivates and strengthens relationships with schools and programs aligned with the Honors College’s academic mission and objectives of the Wilkes Honors College, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and Florida Atlantic University.
+ Oversees a holistic admissions review process to ensure applications are evaluated beyond standard criteria, with a focus on identifying students most likely to thrive in the Honors College’s academically rigorous and close-knit learning environment.
+ Manages and facilitates on-campus recruitment and admissions event logistics for the Wilkes Honors College. This includes the planning, coordination, and execution of key events such as open houses, admitted student programs, scholarship competitions, and other strategic yield activities. Ensures that all events align with institutional goals, provide a high-quality experience for prospective students and families, and reflect the distinct academic and community culture of the Honors College and Florida Atlantic University.
+ Collaborates regularly with colleagues in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions on the Boca Raton campus to ensure alignment of processes, training, and communication. Provides ongoing training and updates to the Wilkes Honors College Admissions staff to maintain consistency in messaging, policies, and best practices.
+ Actively participates in and contributes to committees and collaborative initiatives within the Wilkes Honors College community, fostering strong partnerships between faculty, staff, and administration. Serves as a liaison to ensure alignment and integration of the College’s academic vision with the broader University enrollment strategies.
+ Engages in professional development opportunities and encourages team members to participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in undergraduate admissions.
+ Interprets and applies State University System of Florida and Florida Atlantic University regulations and guidelines.
+ Oversees recruitment efforts within an assigned geographic territory, with regular travel required to attend high school visits, college fairs, and other outreach events in support of enrollment goals.
+ Performs other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience required.
Local, and regional travel is an integral part of this position.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends required.
Ability to organize and analyze data and prepare reports
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Valid driver's license required.
Skilled at public speaking and delivering effective presentations.
Experience with Technolutions Slate
Experience with Banner is preferred.
Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year.
