Principal responsibilities
•Java API Design Development:
•Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance Java APIs for private banking CRM and related systems.
•Develop and maintain RESTful services, ensuring best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.
•Integrate Java APIs with Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and other enterprise systems.
•Optimize API performance, reliability, and security, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
•Power Platform Engineering:
•Design and develop Power Platform components, including custom connectors to interface with Java APIs.
•Support the integration of Power Platform solutions with legacy and third-party systems.
•Contribute to ALM, DevOps, and CI/CD practices for both Java and Power Platform environments.
•Technical Leadership Collaboration:
•Mentor and guide junior engineers in Java and Power Platform development.
•Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
•Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and technical governance.
•Incident Support Management:
•Provide expert-level support for Java APIs and Power Platform solutions, including incident management and defect resolution.
•Participate in on-call rotations as required by project delivery.

•Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
•Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in Java API development and 2 years in Power Platform development.
•Technical Expertise:
•Advanced skills in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks), RESTful API design, and integration patterns.
•Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and custom connector development.
•Familiarity with Dataverse, Azure administration, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing).
•Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
•Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including code optimization, scalability, and security.
•Additional Skills:
•Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
•Experience in private banking or financial services CRM is an advantage.
•Relevant certifications in Java, Power Platform, or cloud technologies are desirable.
