Let's shape the future together. **Overview** The Programmatic Associate Director will own strategic development and execution of programmatic campaigns in channels including but not limited to Display, Audio, High-Impact, Mobile, Native, and Video. The AD owns planning activities for all campaigns related to their brand(s) and is responsible for generating strategic insights while driving learnings across the full suite of the client’s activities. While providing thought leadership on audience strategies and campaign optimization, the AD builds strong relationships and establishes clear lines of communication with agency partners and the client services team alike. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team leader who leads by example and is able to patiently train and mentor team members, while upholding accountability for themselves as well as for team members. **Responsibilities** _Overall_ + Direct and manage the daily workflow of all programmatic campaigns including proposal development, campaign activation and maintenance (e.g. pacing, troubleshooting, reallocations), and reporting + Maintain and take accountability for quality control procedures for programmatic campaign implementation, inclusive of brand safety and any other foundational standards + Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving communication and collaboration within the team and the group + Own the development of strategic proposals, coordinating across teams as necessary to account for all relevant inputs + Help clients orchestrate and leverage all available digital platforms including display, audio, high-impact, mobile, video, and native to drive measurable results + Understand and effectively communicate programmatic value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts + Drive innovation and Test & Learn opportunities, demonstrating an understanding of brand goals and business objectives. _Team Building and Development_ + Oversee a team of programmatic Supervisors and Analysts, assisting in the growth of junior team members through regular 1:1 meetings, identifying technical and career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions and mentor to share addressable media experiences and applications + Participate in regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance + Motivate and manage programmatic team in the creation, development, and execution of programmatic and general media activations, solutions, and tactics within various DSPs + Work collaboratively in planning sessions regarding client strategy and approach, providing programmatic leadership + Establish and manage relationships with key client stakeholders as well as be a key account contact and resource for clients across other brands + Collaborate with agency cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive business solutions and strategies _Financial and Operational Competencies_ + Ensure cross-portfolio operational efforts run smoothly, including but not limited to billing processes, brand safety efforts, and general compliance initiatives + Manage and oversee monthly and end of campaign client billing, budget reconciliations **Qualifications** + 5+ years of directly related experience in display, video and/or mobile programmatic media buying + 2+ years of experience managing a team + Strong leadership skills and professionalism and be comfortable presenting ideas to senior client management + Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations + Deep knowledge in platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, CM360, Innovid, as well as working with 1 st and 3 rd party data + Excellent written and verbal communication skills (PPT, visual story telling necessary) allowing individual to explain how programmatic plans were developed, what they entail, and how they were executed + Resourcefulness, curiosity, and motivation, with ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting + Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency + Problem-solver, with the ability to move quickly between tasks, and think clearly under pressure **Additional information** Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
