As an Associate Director of Insights & Impact, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data to generate actionable insights to inform our decisions and measure impact across Ophthalmology Medical Affairs. We will collaborate to identify key performance metrics, evaluate outcomes, and track our actions taken. This includes providing concise and routine communication of insights to our team members.
This is a remote US based position.
A typical day may include the following:
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive medical insights strategy, incorporating key listening priorities to ensure alignment and relevance.
• Conduct analysis of field medical data to equip leadership with actionable insights, impact quantification, and compelling data stories. .
• Lead the creation and implementation of a field interaction documentation system (Veeva CRM) that effectively captures engagements and contributions.
• Facilitate routine, concise, and targeted communication of medical insights with appropriate cross-functional partners.
• Lead the analysis and synthesis of data from scientific exchanges, capturing physician sentiment trends using surveys, and summarizing the impact on clinical trial metrics and strategic partnerships.
• Lead the development and maintenance of Ophthalmology impact dashboard

To be considered it is required to have an advanced medical and/or scientific degree with 5+ years work experience in Medical Affairs or related area. Doctorate level preferred. Knowledge or experience in the Ophthalmology therapeutic area is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentations. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Veeva CRM. Must have in-depth understanding of regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines/policies. Ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays for meetings, congresses, and training.
