We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Delivery leader to transformation our Digital IT function and be responsible for establishing and maintaining the digital capabilities to deliver according to the Hong Kong IT roadmap and strategy. This position will also lead the digital innovation to transform the digital solution delivery methodology, adopt new technologies, conduct PoC on new solution and digital service.

Leadership

Develop and maintain the solution inventory and dependencies, includes delivery roadmaps to achieve the business goals. Partner with key stakeholders across business and technology to ensure alignment with business priorities and outcomes. Provide leadership, advice, and recommendations on all aspects of solution engineering and delivery between business, technology, and project teams. Create, build, and lead the IT Digital Solution Delivery functions, capable of supporting the delivery of the IT Strategy. Lead and mentor teams of solution engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborate with other directors and senior leadership to ensure solution delivery is aligned with appropriate governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, articulating complex concepts effectively.

Solution Engineering and Development

Define engineering and solution delivery principles and standards, managing and reporting against a backlog of engineering decisions. Create comprehensive solution inventory and dependencies map, including current, transition, and future state models together with the Architecture team. Lead the development and implementation of the target application landscape and plans that support the organization's digital strategy.

Innovation and Technology Advancement

Stay informed about trends and future directions of applications and related technology developments. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks to improve the organization's IT capabilities. Drive the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance business processes and outcomes.

Quality and Security Assurance

Ensure that all IT solutions implementations adhere to high standards of quality, performance, and security. Develop and oversee the implementation of security and compliance standards across the IT solutions.

Budget and Resource Management

Develop annual budgets according to the Digital Solution delivery roadmap. Manage the financial, resource allocation, and capacity planning for the planned Digital Solution delivery projects. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 15+ years of experience in digital application development and support, familiar with various operations and knowledge of supporting different insurance sales channels Strong in system development and project management skills with partners Proven track record in managing solution delivery across multiple projects and teams Familiar with various IT platforms and digital IT solutions in financial industry, good knowledge of digital insurance package solutions , latest digital technology of  mobile, cloud computing, data analytics, and integration technologies. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, particularly in integrating complicated IT solutions Experience in Onshore and Offshore resources management Strong planning and execution skills Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese Experience in process improvement, or quality improvement will be an added advantage
