About the Role

Join us as Associate Director – Investments-Linked & Pension Business Propositions at AIA Investment Management!

We are seeking for an Associate Director to join our Group Investments-Linked & Pension Business (GULPB) to be responsible for TDA & Service Propositions. This is a regional position providing support to all AIA group of companies. Reporting to the Head of Propositions for GULPB, the incumbent will also be involved in strategy and business planning.

Responsibilities:-

Strategy & Business Planning:

Work with relevant Group functions and Local Business Units (LBUs) to lead strategy formulation and initiatives related to growth plans, new markets entry, distribution strategy, new customer segment development and partnerships for the purpose of growing Investment Linked and Pension business.Recommend and build business case on strategic initiatives, articulate and translate ideas into execution priorities, action plans and transformation programs.Take a proactive role in identifying and assessing growth opportunities, new customer segments or product segments for the purpose of growing Investment Linked and Pension business in the various LBUs.Communicate market insights by evaluating industry trends, conducting market research and benchmarking, analyzing the competitive landscape and the eventual impact to the business.Collaborate with LBUs for the purpose of putting up a Quarterly Business Review and Annual GULPB Business Strategy pack

TDA and Service Proposition

Enhance customer experience and journey through TDA by developing and driving adoption by LBUs of digital tools for Investment Linked and Pension offerings including front-end and back-end developmentsPrimary driver for identifying opportunities for investment-linked operational enhancements and collaborating with Group Investment Services and Middle Office as well as LBUs to develop solutionsDevelop and own dashboard for investments-linked and pensions business which incorporates key information and metrics that assist in management reporting and decision makingDevelop and own GULPB portal and other digital assets

Requirements:

University degree preferably with an MBA or Master degreeHighly numerate with 10-15 years of related experience in Financial ServicesFinance experience preferred, especially in business planning and modelling business proposalsExperience in Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, Strategy Consulting gained from Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Bancassurance, Wealth Management, Asset Management or Consumer Banking sectors will be an advantage. Experience in Fund Management and/or Wealth Management sectors will also be a plusAppreciation of Wealth Management & Investment Linked Fund Propositions in key Asian Markets, including regulatory landscapeDriven self-starter who is delivery focused and possess strong communication, influencing and presentation skills as well as stakeholder management skillsThrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to various demands in a diverse culture.Experience in developing and delivering end user customer journey and possessing project management skills and ability to lead large and complex projects across functions
