The **Associate** **Director, Integrated Insights** will contribute to the Market Research efforts supporting Gilead's HIV US commercialization efforts for the HIV Treatment and Prevention therapeutic areas. The market research you will conduct will focus primarily on Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHCPs), Healthcare Providers (HCPs), and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). This is an individual contributor role. As the **Associate** **Director, Integrated Insights** you will: + Work with key stakeholders, playing a key role in planning, development and execution of market research. + Manage HIV market research studies, including project objective, design, vendor selection and oversight, monitoring of data collection, data analysis and interpretation. + Develop relevant and compelling presentation of market research insights for key stakeholders, including Brand Leadership and Senior Management. + Manage and analyze competitive environment sales records, market penetration, market potential and future trends and makes recommendations based on findings + Keep abreast of key market events and workto understand potential impact + Present insights to Senior Management, ability to tailor communications to maximize influence to key stakeholders + Work with diverse counterparts (Analytics, Forecasting, Digital Strategy & Operations, Managed Markets, Brand team), compile and analyze statistical data on past sales and trends to interpret market trends and, as appropriate, recommend corrective courses of action + Ability to integrate insights from desperate sources to develop and provide a comprehensive viewpoint and perspective **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelors in Psychology, Biology, Business, or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience in market research, sales/marketing analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Master's and 6 years of experience.​​ + Strong data analytical and interpretive skills.  The ability to meaningfully portray and effectively communicate complex quantitative data in an easy-to-understand format is required. + Experience designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary market research. Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly and acquire in-depth knowledge and experience in a complex market + Experience with global Sales and Marketing organizations and experience with pharmaceutical data sources **Knowledge, Experience and Skills Needed:** + Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing and changing priorities. Must have strong task management skills to include planning, prioritization, objective setting, and meeting management and plan execution. + Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach.  Creative problem solving.  Open to new learnings and flexible in changing situations. + Ability to develop a market research commercial strategy in support of both in-line products and product launch.  Able to operate in ambiguous situations and determine focused objectives and a clear path forward in the face of open questions + Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, influence others, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines.  Ability to work/collaborate with a variety of personalities and skillsets + Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing both to peers and senior management are required. + Ability to travel up to 10% of time The salary range for this position is: Bay Area: $195,670.00 - $253,220.00. Other US Locations: $177,905.00 - $230,230.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
