Job Title: Associate Director, Government Contracting and Analytics

About the Job
This position is responsible for the compliant management of Government contracts including State Medicaid Supplemental Programs, State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs (SPAPs), and Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). Ownership of all Medicaid voluntary strategies and contracting including business case development, liaising with key stakeholders such as Account Management, Pricing Review Board presentations, and contract execution with the states. Recommend plans of action that meet strategic objectives. Perform financial analysis of commercial strategies and their impact on Government prices, and analysis pertaining to Government pricing regulation changes. Support the Government markets GTN/budget process. Responsibilities may also include supporting product acquisitions, divestitures, and performing financial analysis as required by key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the efficient, timely, and compliant management of Government contracts including State Medicaid Supplemental Programs, SPAPs, and Federal Supply Schedule.
Ownership of all Medicaid voluntary strategies and contracting including business case development, liaising with key stakeholders such as Account Management, Pricing Review Board presentations, and contract execution with the states. Key business lead with business unit stakeholders for Medicaid-related issues requiring additional analysis and contracting
Support the development of voluntary government strategies for Medicaid Supplementals and FSS.
Identify and analyze risks and opportunities relative to government pricing and recommend plans of action to meet strategic objectives
Key lead with Contract Development and Pricing team for assessing government program implications of commercial contracting activities and ensure the appropriate quantification of potential liability and risk. Ownership of government channel analysis of best price and tracking customer impacts
Interpret regulatory requirements and provide financial impact analysis when necessary.
Support the development of corporate financials for government markets including GTNs, budget, and accruals.
Provide contracting and analytical support for product acquisitions and divestitures
Recommend and implement process improvement measures to enhance operating performance.
Work closely with various stakeholders to provide documentation, analysis and expertise in support of audit and litigation requests, as well as other cross-functional projects
Demonstrate compliance, company values, and required competencies on a consistent basis.

About You
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, area of specialization in Business, Finance, Accounting, Policy or Health Care
7+years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in government pricing and contracting preferred
Knowledge of U.S. Government pricing statutes and regulations including knowledge of OBRA 90, OBRA 93, Deficit Reduction Act, VA Healthcare Act, the Medicare Modernization Act, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience with analytical tools
Strong presentation development and delivery skills
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident, and results-oriented communications and presentations

The salary range for this position is:
$147,000.00 - $212,333.33All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
