We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Governance
Business: Global Technology Centres
Principal responsibilities
Governance Framework and Regulatory Compliance:
• Maintain and oversee the governance frameworks for HT China to ensure alignment with corporate policies, regulatory obligations and industrial best practices.
• Review and update governance policies and operational guidelines to ensure relevance and compliance with global/regional/national acts and laws,
• Conduct regulatory compliance submissions for HT China, ensuring adherence to local statutory laws and corporate guidelines.
Inter-Governmental and Stakeholder Agreements (IGSA) Management:
• Oversee the execution, renewal, and compliance of IGSA agreements, ensuring commitments are tracked, reported, and fulfilled according to legal and operational standards.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and contractual risks related to IGSA agreements, collaborating with legal, finance, and operations teams.
• Conduct internal entities outsourcing performance governance of HBCN material services
Financial Governance and Cost Oversight:
• Oversee financial submissions, including annual operating plans and tracking of actuals for HT China operations.
• Lead cost management initiatives to ensure expenses incurred are reasonable, appropriate, and within budget, adhering to tax guidelines.
Center Policy Governance and Compliance Assurance:
• Oversee compliance with governmental funding requirements, ensuring accurate reporting and financial governance of government-funded initiatives
• Develop Government Funding governance frameworks and policies to mitigate risks related to public funding, ensuring audit readiness and financial integrity.
• Drive entity-level projects such as travel governance, WIO policy, Car management policy, Fusion Expense checking
• Prepare board paper submissions and reports on entity operations, policy changes, and/or audit updates if any.
