**Associate Director of Data Privacy Operations**

**Company Description**
This role’s primary responsibility is to ensure that data privacy principles are implemented into all areas of Publicis’ business. This position should have knowledge of data privacy laws that are applicable to the AdTech and advertising industry. The position will coordinate across engineering, system administration, and senior-level business stakeholders to implement the global data privacy program, including data privacy by design and default.
**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate closely with Publicis Groupe´s data privacy legal counsel, as well as the Global Security Office, to ensure alignment between Groupe´s global and data privacy protection practices and programs
+ Serves as one of the data privacy subject matter experts with a focus on US and EU privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
+ Support implementing and managing the Data Privacy Program under the guidance of the Global Data Privacy Program Lead in close coordination with applicable business unit leads.
**Activities**
+ Undertake reviews of our business processes within assigned areas to ensure the best practice are followed around the handling and use of personal information
+ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Deploy and ensure the completion of record keeping obligations
+ Accountable for implementing privacy by design in partnership with product owners
+ Facilitate factual due diligence activities for data privacy impact assessments
+ Participates in client meetings for questions related to data privacy and protection matters.
+ Vendor due diligence:
+ Lead all phases of vendor due diligence
+ Partner with vendor relationship owners to ensure contractual obligations are met by vendors in accordance to data privacy laws
+ Reporting:
+ Compile status reports of data privacy deliverables to executive leadership
+ Prepares and assists with presenting clear, accurate and timely reports on privacy and data protection risks, risk mitigation measures and compliance activities.
+ Monitor compliance with US and EU data protection laws, Publicis Groupe data protection policies, awareness-raising, training, and audits
**Qualifications**
• Degree in Law, Policy, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• IAPP certification(s) (e.g. CIPP,CIPP/E, CIPM)
• Experience with OneTrust platform (desirable)

**Role specific competencies**
+ Director Privacy Program Operations must possess excellent knowledge of adtech industry with strong initiative, collaboration skills, communication proficiency, problem-solving and analytical skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Excel), as well as excellent management and leadership skills.
+ Must be comfortable working in a distributed functional team
+ Be informed on the evolving privacy regulatory landscape.
**Experience and qualifications – essential**
+ 5+ years’ experience in the AdTech, digital media industry and/or data privacy field
+ Experience in or knowledge of information technology
+ Ability to manage 8-10 parallel medium to large size projects in a matrixed, multi-discipline environment
+ Ideally experience of collating and preparing Subject Access Request disclosures
+ Preferred minimum of 10 years professional work experience with ideally 3 years of which is data privacy related experience with a focus on EU and US data privacy and protection laws, regulations and best practices

Compensation Range: $110,580 - $173,995 USD Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
