The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:
RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, Data Migration Lead SAP S/4 HANA (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation) to oversee end-to-end data conversion and migration activities for our SAP S/4HANA transformation program in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in S4/HANA data migration, governance, and cutover execution, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale ERP programs in complex, regulated environments. This role will play a critical part in ensuring data readiness, accuracy, and compliance to support a successful S/4HANA go-live.
What You will Do:
Lead the design, planning, and execution of data migration strategy for SAP S/4HANA, covering master data, transactional data, and historical data.Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, and functional leads to define migration scope, rules, standards, and mapping from legacy systems.Develop and manage detailed migration plans, mock load cycles, validation activities, and cutover schedules.Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance requirements specific to the A&D industry (ITAR, DFARS, export controls, etc.).Oversee data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load activities using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), BODS, Syniti DSP/ADM, LSMW, and Winshuttle.Drive root-cause analysis and remediation for data quality issues across multiple functional domains (MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, WM, GTS).Partner with the Cutover Lead to ensure all migration dependencies and activities are aligned with the overall cutover strategy.Provide leadership and guidance to a global team of onsite/offshore migration analysts, developers, and testers.Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data readiness and sign-offs.Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track data migration progress and quality.Travel up to 25% domesticallyQualifications You Must Have:
Minimum of 12+ years of SAP experience in a Data Migration lead role and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 10+ years’ related work experience.Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA data migration and cutover management in large-scale, global ERP programs.Demonstrated success leading full lifecycle SAP implementations, including data migration, cleansing, and cutover.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience leading data migration in multi-ERP legacy landscapes, consolidating data from systems (e.g., JDE, Infor, Oracle, AS400) into SAP S/4HANA.Strong knowledge of SAP MM, P2P, PP, SD, WM, and FI/CO processes, including cross-functional integration.Proficiency in data migration tools and methodologies, including LTMC, LTMOM, LSMW, Syniti DSP/ADM, BODS, SAP Information Steward, Talend, SQL.Ability to Travel up to 25%.Learn More & Apply Now!

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
