Overview The Associate Director, Connections Strategy provides cross-channel, data-driven CRM strategy development to reach our clients’ key audiences. This role is responsible for day-to-day strategy strategic functions across multiple CRM campaigns for a fast-paced account. The ideal candidate should have experience developing, road-mapping and activating CRM programs to help brands better connect with their customers through direct and addressable channels. They must have a deep understanding of bringing to life consumer engagement strategies through addressable/owned channels including email, push, direct messaging, and others. This role requires comfort and expertise with working with teams and clients across disciplines. The Associate Director will drive the strategy for key programs and ensure collaboration and alignment across account management, delivery, analytics, creative, marketing operations, and data partners. Responsibilities Develop and steward key CRM programs to drive sales for a leading automotive client Develop multi-channel (Email, SMS, Push, DM, etc.) communication plans that guide the full customer lifecycle and experience Create test & learn strategies and develop test briefs that continuously monitor and optimize CRM programs that align to the client’s business strategy and priorities Develop insightful creative briefs to provide focus and direction to creative teams responsible for developing channel-specific and overall campaign/program assets Use historical business results and customer data to gain insights, translating those insights into actionable strategies and personalized experiences Partner with audience data and analytics teams to develop strategies that enables the use of data fully & make recommendations for data enrichment, utilization, and acquisition opportunities Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure CRM strategies are integrated across all customer touchpoints Present strategy output and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders Identify and steward growth opportunities through incremental program proposals and proactive strategy recommendations Develop a strong understanding of the clients’ category and unique business dynamics within the category Supports leadership and team leads as necessary and aides in elevating and driving client’s marketing and business goals Qualifications 7+ years of demonstrated excellence in CRM, direct marketing or customer engagement strategy within consulting or agency environments Solid understanding of strategic planning best practices and how to use this knowledge to develop integrated cross-channel programs Ability to translate data into well-articulated and actionable ideas Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, vision, and leadership to help facilitate change within a team and client’s organization Deep experience with all addressable/owned channels including email, push, SMS, web, direct mail, and integrating with media and social teams Experience working with MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Ability to develop strong client relationships and trust based on deep immersion into the client’s business Automotive experience is a plus but not a requirement Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Innovative mindset and a willingness to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies Additional information The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
