Job Title: Associate Director, Acceleration, Strategy and PMO, ANI India

About the Role:

The incumbent is a senior leader and will hold a critical position in the MD’s office and will be responsible for end to end design, detailing, execution, and project management of key projects for ANI India.

The position is responsible for working with and/ or leading cross functional teams across the commercial divisions and support functions of ANI India.

The incumbent will also work closely with the country and PA leadership team to ensure success of the acceleration plan, develop business in specific markets and channels through strong background in business development, strategic planning, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Acceleration

Strategize and track progress of India acceleration in line with the committed plan.Identify both leading and lagging indicators, create metrics that predict future sales performance & identify areas of improvement through these indicators.Closely track revenue, margin, growth, reach, KPIs, recommendations, engagements etc. in line with the acceleration planWork with the Sales team to identify gap and implement plans to close the sales gapsBuild contingencies through tapping new channels / geographies to support the trade executionTo work closely with the Trade Marketing and Trade Sales team on the build up and review of Sales Plans

Develop business in specific markets in the country

Focus on developing Abbott business in specific markets for both Ethical and TradeIdentify new market opportunities, building relationships with key external stakeholders, and lead initiatives to strengthen our business in key markets

Support Modern Trade and TT teams in developing our business

Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to both Modern Trade and Traditional Trade channels to drive business growth.Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape specific to Modern Trade and TT channels.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients like Reliance, D-Mart and standalone supermarkets in South.

Strategic Project Management

Identify transformation initiatives and projects for ANI India based on short and long term business needsDrive high-priority projects critical to business growth and development (e.g., margin optimization, sales acceleration, strategic deals, India governance model); will require working closely with GM, SLT members and cross-functional teams to drive requisite change and generate impact for the projectsSet up and work with relevant cross functional teams across commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, HR, finance and regulatory functions on projectsDrive strategic partnerships with external partners and other areas as neededCollaborate with regional and global teams, as neededEnsure timely reporting of critical business updates to region and division working with business unit and functional heads, as neededConduct detailed design of initiatives, bringing in best practices and insights from internal and external sources (market, competition and other industries) into the project designOwn the execution and delivery of all chosen transformational projects and ensure regular problem solving, tracking and de-bottleneckingPerform escalation of issues and roadblocks along with mitigating actions to relevant owners, sponsorsConduct root cause analysis; identify critical issues and frame the overall problem statement for strategic projectsDistill insights and synthesize analysis & output into clear recommendation for business heads and senior managementDefine implementation plans and roadmap for executionPrepare presentations for GM’s office, as needed

Skill requirements:

Solid business acumen with in-depth financial knowledge and experience in strategy or sales and marketing  Strong problem-solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide answersAbility to manage across organizational boundaries and lead cross-functional initiativesExceptional analytical skills and exposure to market research, analyticsAbility to form strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders and key decision makersSuperior communication skills (written, presentation, speaking, listening)Energetic individual with a strong commitment for continuous improvementAbility to navigate the matrix organization in an objective and collaborative manner

Education 

MBA from a reputed institute, preferably with experience in a top tier firm, typically in management consulting or strategy

Experience/Background 

15-20+ years of work experience
