The Banking Center of Excellence is a new team within Global Commercial Services (GCS) at American Express. The team is on a mission to expand the concept of American Express membership through a relevant, curated set of financial services products at differentiated value.
Digital Product teams at American Express play a central role in identifying customer needs, building outstanding experiences, and leading teams across the company to launch, improve and cultivate products that provide our customers with world-class digital experiences. In this role, you will optimize product development processes and enhance cross-team collaboration empowering our team to deliver exceptional value to customers and users
Key Responsibilities:
Streamline and improve internal processes and champion industry/team best practices Monitor and support improvement of team delivery health Contribute to the definition of the digital product roadmap, new features, scope and prioritize the backlog Partner with engineering, design, and user research to define user stories, user experience, and conduct user testing Collaborate with internal teams and partners to launch digital products and features, managing in-market digital products post-launch Obtain feedback on the product, using data, analytics, and customer input, to iterate and drive improvements in future releases Maintain pulse on external digital product development trends and marketplace dynamics to inform continuous product evolutionRequired Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for exceptional products and services, able to empathize with customers, and skilled at articulation of product functionality Understanding of tech and product development processes, known as a businessperson who can speak both tech and business languages Curiosity and hunger to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to make connections and find opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action Excellent communication skills across distributed and global teams with ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment Highly organized, taking individual initiative and accountability for getting results Bachelor’s degreeSalary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
