Job Summary
The Caterpillar Tooling team in Monterrey, Mexico, has an opportunity for an entry level engineer to serve as a tooling designer. This coordinating role will work under the guidance of experienced tooling engineers to support the concept, design, and development tools with different as mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
What the candidate will do:
Develop and maintain a keen understanding of internal and external customers' needs.Support the design, development, and validation of mechanical fixturesDevelop or definition of plans for tooling designsParticipate in tooling design reviews to share recommendations with process partnersEducation requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical, Industrial Design, Automotive, Materials, or Mechatronics engineering disciplines from an accredited universityEnglish speaking and writing skillsWhat skills the ideal candidate will have:
