Associate Creative Director
**Overview** **PURPOSE** The Associate Creative Director manages and leads the Creative Teams to ensure the highest quality and consistency in the Creative product when fulfilling Client needs, and to position the Agency as a creative leader in the marketplace. The Associate Creative Director is responsible for attracting, assessing and maintaining the quality and quantity of the creative resources necessary to properly service the Agency’s business. **Responsibilities** **Provision of Next Practice Communications** + Ensure that Business Development & Strategic Planning provide appropriate briefs and information for the creative process to begin + Asks questions which lead to insights in order to spark creative ideas + Evaluate creative strategy and executions for all work + Fosters an atmosphere that encourages outstanding work + Monitor progress of major campaigns and assesses marketplace impact + Build and sustain close partnership with CCO in determining creative leadership goals + Act as final arbiter in resolving creative issues and problems + Work “hands-on” for special “pushes” and new business presentations + Take an active role in the creative development process of new business and be an integral part of the new business team + Ensure that all Creative staff comply with internal accounting procedures + Annual performance improvement for local, national and international awards **Leadership Team Participation** + Provide Strategic input into the creative direction of the agency + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor campaigns + Utilise Groupe knowledge and apply locally + Implement/ develop Next Practice creative strategies + Foster an all agency responsibility for creativity **People Management** + Creative staff focussed on producing measurable results driven advertising + Build the “Creative” reputation of the Agency in order to attract and hire the best talent + Recruit and maintain a balanced creative staff which has the potential to realise the Agency’s short and long-term goals + Identify people with the greatest potential to fulfil the creative needs of each account + Instil confidence in staff to fulfil expected standards of creative/ production excellence and marketplace leadership + Schedule performance feedback and development of individual members of the Creative team + Identify and meets the training needs of team members + Develop and implement retention strategies for key employees + Ensure all timesheets completed daily + Regular team meetings held + Poor performance issues dealt with promptly **Quality of Execution** + Encourage the highest level of performance with all external production/ executional supplier + Ensure that only the best external professionals are utilised + Through respect and leadership in the marketplace attract production professionals who have a preference to work with the Agency and its Creative team + Demand and receive competitive costings on all production and execution **Qualifications** **Knowledge and Experience** + Proven track record of successful campaigns + Sound knowledge and experience in all facets of Creative + Proven ability and experience in effectively leading and managing a team + Understanding of impact of Strategic Planning, Media and Business Development on the creative team + Overseas experience preferred + Experience working on large multi-national accounts **Skills** : + People Management + Influencing skills + Problem solving + Networking capabilities + Creative thinking + Communication skills + Strategic Planning/Thinking + Decision Making + Presentation Skills + Time Management + Negotiation Skills **Additional information** + Generous leave entitlements, including birthday leave, rest day and family care leave. + Office closure for World Mental Health Day 10th October. + Additional Company closure for all 4 major festive Celebrations + Cashless comprehensive medical coverage, including access to a panel clinic, dental and optical care. + Life and personal accident insurance and group hospitalization and surgery. + A hybrid working schedule and with Friday disconnects. + Rest Relax & Recharge - office closure last week of December every year. + Phone Allowance
