Associate Creative Director, Pharmaceutical Advertising & Training

Position Overview:
We’re on the hunt for an Associate Creative Director (ACD) with deep experience in pharmaceutical sales training—someone who understands the balance between strategic storytelling and instructional design. You’ll lead the development of visually engaging and educational materials that help sales reps truly learn and retain. From at-home learning kits to tactile experiences, from e-learning modules to national sales meeting decks, your work will drive engagement and elevate outcomes.

As an ACD you’ll guide visual strategy and design across multiple pharma accounts, ensuring that every touchpoint—from concept to completion—is insightful, brand-aligned, and learning-effective. You’ll collaborate with writers, instructional designers, account leads, and client stakeholders. Fast-paced doesn’t scare you. Juggling deadlines doesn’t faze you. What It Takes:

Champion the creative vision for all learning-related materials: print, digital, e-learning, tactile kits, gamification, meeting modules, and moreCollaborate with Copy and Instructional Design to craft compelling and strategic training experiencesBring understanding of learning behaviors and adult education strategies to art directionInterpret client strategy and translate complex content into clear, digestible visualsLead and mentor art directors and designers with inspiration, clarity, and honest feedbackDrive the visual execution of immersive sales training content—both remote and in-personJuggle multiple brands, timelines, and deliverables with agility and focusRepresent the creative team in client meetings and strategic planning sessionsBalance high-level creative direction with hands-on design where neededElevate the quality of every asset while staying on brand and on brief


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or similar field7–10 years of creative experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical training and communicationsHands-on expertise with design for e-learning, sales force training, and educational contentExperience developing for various formats: print, PowerPoint, LMS, digital, tactile, and experientialProven ability to lead and mentor a creative teamStrong client-facing skills and the ability to present work persuasivelyExcellent time management and multitasking chops—you thrive on deadlinesProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools (eg, PowerPoint, Keynote, Articulate (Storyline 360)Prior experience in fast-paced agency environments preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $75,600.00 - $189,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
