Associate CPQ Specialist II

Accountabilities:

Member of team working closely with senior team members in supporting Global CS and GME Sales and Account Management teams (“Submitters”) in timely creation, submission, and processing of qualified Quotes and Orders for forecasted deals, with goal of maximizing efficient system deal flow with and revenue collection This role requires the ability to quickly acquire hybrid knowledge across sales, products, systems, and other cross-functional spaces, with direct impact on deal closures Partner directly with Submitters to receive vetted Quote/Order handoffs for creation and data-entry into the CPQ system within SLAs to be established Collaborate with Submitters to clarify Quote/Order details as needed to ensure accurate system data and to mitigate duplication of work Alert Submitters when Quote/Order details are unable to be actioned due to non-compliance with business rules, finance rules, etc., so that submitters can resolve as necessary Collaborate with Submitters and HS Pricing to secure custom pricing approvals in support of Quoter/Order creation Receive client Quote confirmations from Submitters in support of streamlined Order creation Keep Submitters informed and updated as to Quote/Order status in CPQ Effectively manage submissions as assigned, including monitoring workload dashboard and ensuring timely follow-up with stakeholders and approvers to address any delays or issues that may arise regarding Quote/Order processing Provide ongoing guidance excellent customer service to Submitters on Quote/Order handoff processes, continually enhancing such processesMaintain intake queues, resources, forms, dashboards, etc., to receive Quote/Order handoffs Navigate CPQ system requirements and limitations with System Support teams and other necessary stakeholders  Maintain and grow robust knowledge of Elsevier products, related business practices, and technical system functionalities  Participate in development support, UAT, feedback sessions, updates to, and other system enhancement activities related to CPQ and relevant related systems, ensuring that functionality and usability meet requirements and expectations Collaborate with downstream teams to provide clarity as needed regarding output Orders, driving downstream objects such as Contracts, Delivery Instructions, and Invoices Proactively communicate clearly and effectively across teams Maintain technical proficiency in common business applications and platforms Provide cross-coverage within team as needed Work well within a matrixed environment Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree holder or Completed at least 2 years level in College (no back subjects/incomplete units ​)Minimum one year of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate or B2B sales environment within health software or clinical solutions.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with mandatory experience in SharePoint.Ability to execute both routine tasks and special projects by following established instructions or under supervision.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence across global teams and locations.Extensive administrative experience in a high-volume office environment.High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately.Experience with Salesforce.CPQ knowledge or experience is highly desirable.Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.Prior experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Additional Requirements for Internal Candidates:
•    Must be in current role for 1 year
•    Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
•    Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 month
•    Must have a Successful or above rating in the last Enabling Performance cycle
