Main Responsibilities:
Associate Commercial Project Manager role is ideal for someone eager to build their commercial project management experience. This is a remote job opportunity, or it can be based in Wendell, North Carolina.
Associate CPM’s (ACPM) will play a key supporting role for CPM’s during the early stages of larger projects — including planning, scoping, and stakeholder coordination — while also independently managing smaller-scale commercial projects from initiation to close. This is a great opportunity to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with mentorship from experienced project managers.
ACPM ensures compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase. The ACPM supports the respective Commercial Project Manager in other areas with the objective of executing the project according to the defined PM@Siemens guidelines/standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).
Responsibilities
Assist CPM’s through PM100 & project closure
Support Commercial Project Managers in the early phases of large-scale projects, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, Project and Sales order creation Supports the CPM in coordinating purchasing activity during initial stages of projects Ensures an adequate handover phase, analyzes customers’ requirements, examines their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability, incl. ECC matters Maintain accurate project documentation during Handover phase such as Customer contracts, cost calculations and vendor Purchase Orders Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of bonds (e.g., performance bonds, bid bonds) and ensure compliance with guaranteed contract requirements Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and contributing to project management best practices Coordinate and execute project closure activities, such as compiling final reports, ensuring all deliverables are accepted, obtaining formal project sign-offsManage Project Finances for Small Projects using POC accounting
Ensures accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g. SAP Performs applicable requirements for month end activities Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e. FC, cash flow) Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements Ensures the application and the continuously managing of financial Guarantees, Bonds and project securities Supports the PM in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs and establishing an appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general Manage the risks, contract and claims by ensuring compliance with LoA guidelines for commercial aspects, e.g. risk management process Manage the compliance to standards, rules and regulations of (commercial) project members to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establishes a culture of trust and integrity (e.g. adherence of tax regulations, Signature rights, segregation of duties, ECC, EHS), OR, Legal and Compliance, HR (incl. Delegation process), ECC, Customs, external auditors, etc. Manages the customers’ requirements and expectations with the PM. Ability to interpret and execute contract (customer and supplier) terms and conditions.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree (Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management) SAP experience and knowledge 10% travelPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of assignments. Siemens CPM Certification or PMP Certification is a plus The candidate should have demonstrated skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines is required Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. 2+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.Self-motivated with customer orientation and clear growth and entrepreneurial mind-set

The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440.
