Overview

HireRight is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Counsel with 2-3 years of experience in commercial transactional law.  He or she will focus on corporate affairs and governance including entity management and other general corporate matters.  The ideal candidate has experience working for a top law firm with some prior in-house experience being ideal, but not mandatory.  This position is suited for an attorney who is adaptable, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple legal projects effectively. This position will report to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel- Corporate & NA Commercial Contracts.

Responsibilities Assist in maintaining corporate records, drafting corporate resolutions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Oversee all aspects of entity management for US and international entities. Assist with M&A transactions and other corporate projects or transactions as needed. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and processes to improve legal efficiency and minimize risk. Research and advise on diverse legal issues, including employment, intellectual property, and contracts matters.  Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to a state bar and in good standing 2–3 years of experience practicing corporate and transactional law Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software What do we offer
