Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily processes of the department by removing barriers, ensuring available work, and communicating with stakeholders to maximize KPI results.Ensure staffing board is updated prior to and throughout the shift for the department so that associates are assigned appropriately to ensure they do not run out of work and minimize time off task.Proactively work to reduce backlog and address aging items including trailers, piles, communication, etc.Ensure accurate physical and virtual processes in the department.Communicate across shifts to ensure a smooth handoff to peers on next shift.Have a positive attitude towards barriers and finding proactive solutions to work through them.Check and respond respectfully and tactfully to emails quarterly to ensure business needs are addressed quickly and appropriately.Ensure completion and assist in training of new associates.Accurately utilize and track all department required paperwork and logs.Assist in all functions of the department and work in path when necessary.Ensure all mechanical problems are reported to maintenance for repair.Respectfully address any and all associate concerns and escalate appropriately.Assist in implementing and defining new processes according to the SOP training documentation.Help enforcement and adherence to the site 5S program and housekeeping standards.Ensure all facility safety policies are followed and all violations are reported immediatelyParticipate in the facility Safety and Quality programsUse sound judgment in all areas with respect to company policies, safety enforcement, workflow, and KPIs
Qualifications:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $45,780 USD - $52,624 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
