Role
This person will be a part of a client service team focusing on the middle office loan administration function. As the primary client contact for Private Debt,the person will oversee Loan trade capture, trade affirmation to Loan lenders, life-cycle event processing and asset servicing on the FIS VPM Platform
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding environment. Thisperson needs to be able to resolve conflict within a short period of time and add value by working on a number of simultaneous tasks with minimalsupervision, exemplary follow-through while paying special attention to detail. A familiarity with middle office Loan trading support and debt securityproducts is an advantage but not required.


Principal Responsibilities

Support the daily processing for Loan securities including Private Debt loans, Direct Lending loans, Club loans, Broadly syndicated loans (BSLs).E.g. Term Loans, Revolvers, Delayed Draw Term LoanProactively and accurately identify incoming agent notices; process all life cycle events for portfolios containing multiple asset types.Collaborate with Loan Administrators to interpret, problem-solve and to help better understand loan related information to resolve exceptionsCommunicate clearly and efficiently with agent banks to confirm and obtain loan notices.Effectively communicate with internal and external parties including Loan Agents, Fund Accountants, Recon, Custody, Auditors, Vendors, Client,tailoring information to audience as required.Support the daily processing for securities including Bonds, Equities and FX Forwards.Liaison between clients, loan agents and internal teams to resolve breaks and open reconciling items to ensure timely settlement.Process trade corrections and manage pre-settlement confirmation process for all types of private loan securities, including debt, equities, and bonds,traded in international markets.Manage all daily activities by providing clients with portfolio positions, posting transactions, and delivering information to Fund Accounting teams.Effective investigation and reconciliation of breaks and established escalation processMonitor trade capture process and upload trades to the FIS VPM Platform.Create and maintain process flows and control tools to accommodate new business needs.Build and maintain internal and external relationships.Proactively taking on additional responsibilities and administrational tasks as required by your managers or clients

Skills / Experience

Loan administration and private debt financial security instruments experienceExperience of the Private Debt trade flowExperience of FIS VPM vended application an advantage.Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards when dealing with tight deadlines, high volumes and demanding trading desks andclientsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint,.Excellent written and oral communication skillsProven team player, taking ownership for own role while contributing to wider team effortsKnowledge of custody, securities lending, prime brokerage, market trading practices and position processing treatment
