Associate Consultant – Capital Market Risk

Northern Trust is looking to recruit professionals for its Bangalore/Pune Centre. Successful recruit would be part of Northern Trust’s Capital Markets Credit Risk Team. This is a highly visible role, to work on key regulatory projects, frequent interaction with business partners across the globe.

Job title: Associate Consultant

Location: Bangalore/ Pune (Hybrid model, 3 days per week in office)

Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

Job Duties:

• Well versed with risk related concepts, capital market product and Stress testing process.

• Evaluating the potential impact of stress scenarios on various business lines and risk types.

• Continuous monitoring and reporting of stress test results

• Partnering with business units and underwriters to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Facilitate and Support strong controls over data, reports, and analysis, including automation, reconciliation and testing

• Work closely with oversight risk committees presenting explanations for trends and issues identified through the analysis, monitoring and reporting process

• Perform documentation, procedures and controls to enable accurate and timely reporting

• Understand and quickly adapt to risk systems and technology to design strategies and support complete, correct and timely reporting

Qualification:

• Master/ Bachelor Degree in Finance/Statistics/FRM

Skills Required:

• 4+ years of experience as a Risk Analyst

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices

• Good understanding of capital market products and stress testing

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of any one or more tools such as Risk Manager, Power BI, Incorta, Adenza, Azure Dev ops.
