**Please review the following job description:**
Design, deliver, communicate, monitor and/or administer broad-based compensation programs and practices, including job attributes, pay structure, incentive plans, annual rewards and other compensation related programs. Develop and implement strategies for delivery of compensation to ensure competitiveness, appropriate linkages between pay and performance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Consult and partner with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and the business regarding ongoing compensation management, job evaluation, program/plan design, and other compensation related topics. Lead initiatives in Compensation Governance and participate in initiatives of larger size and/or complexity. Develop, deliver, and execute compensation governance initiatives in partnership with stakeholders. Administer compensation governance initiatives according to processes and procedures that are compliant with audit and regulatory expectations.
****Position is not a remote role. Role is an office centric role with 4 days in office at one of our Truist HUB locations.*****
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Build strong partnerships with the leaders within a moderately complex Line of Business (LOB) and/or corporate function, as well HRBPs, to provide compensation related consulting services to assigned areas. Develop a thorough understanding of all compensation programs within assigned LOBs, including strategy, drivers, metrics, goals, and analysis of results.
2. Provide advice and creative solutions for moderately complex compensation issues which strategically support assigned areas.
3. Perform analysis of all compensation-related issues within an LOB and/or corporate functional area, such as market pricing/grading of exempt and nonexempt positions, organization design, design and administration of short-term incentives, to ensure consistent and equitable establishment across the enterprise.
4. Evaluate alternative methods of compensation and the design of compensation packages for various functional areas and levels of management. Partner with LOB/corporate function leaders to develop and structure market competitive, equitable and compliant compensation programs.
5. Lead or participate in moderately complex projects with oversight of resources, accountability for risk mitigation and responsibility through implementation and communication.
6. May mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical and consulting expertise.
7. Contribute to the development, communication and interpretation of compensation policies, procedures and regulations (e.g. Fair Labor Standards Act, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Interagency Guidance on Sound Incentive Compensation Policies) to establish and maintain uniform understanding and application within each LOB.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. 3 years of demonstrated specialized and/or broad knowledge with Compensation or related discipline (Human Resources, Finance, etc.).
3. Ability to lead projects of moderate complexity and risk exposure and to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
4. Demonstrated ability to partner with business to understand business needs and develop suitable compensation / incentive programs
5. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Previous project management experience.
2. Experience working in a in a complex organization.
3. Experience working in the financial services industry
4. Professional certification in HR related discipline (PHR, SPHR, CCP, etc.)
5. Experience working with HRIS systems and Market Data tools
