The Associate Companion Diagnostics Manager will define strategy and lead marketing efforts within biomarker & diagnostics field for our oncology portfolio. He/she will work across oncology therapeutic areas, different indications and lines of treatment and with all relevant parts of our organization, as well as diagnostic and potential future pharma partners of our company.
Key responsibilities includes:
To collect customer insights/ monitor situation in referral and reference labs to get excellent understanding of national and regional specifics of biomarkers testing, support digitalization of patology.
Work effectively with cross-functional partners including Commercial (marketing, sales, KAM), Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Policy, Communications, Legal, market analytics, diagnostic and pharma partner companies etc. to successfully navigate the internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers.
Provide commercial leadership on activities development of diagnostic indication strategy & messaging, operating budget & forecasting, launch readiness reviews, customer interactions, market research, and partner engagement.
Developing a digital training platform to enable on-demand training for pathologists seeking additional educational opportunities.
Leveraging an omni-channel approach to meet the changing customer needs for new ways of consuming content.
Assessment of diagnostic experience in local market for other biomarkers and new biomarkers in line with our company's development pipeline.
Driving awareness and education around the importance of PD-L1 assessment in tumors including but not limited to NSCLC, H&N and other in-license indications for immuno-checkpoint inhibitor.
Communicating value proposition of patient selection to pathologists, pneumologists, oncologists and payer.
Organizing and facilitating training across Poland to assess PD-L1 status of cancer patients and their eligibility for immunotherapy.
Responsibilities also include interacting with the key scientific leaders in relation to guiding and enabling implementation, adoption and use of diagnostics.
Leadership skills and ability to collaborate across the organization locally and with the Regional Diagnostic Lead will be essential, as well as ability to work with many areas of marketing management including strategy development, engagement programs, targeting and segmentation, understanding competitive dynamics, and issues management in a highly complex and dynamic environment.
The candidate will need to have strong business acumen, strategic thinking, prioritization and a demonstrated ability to understand and manage key levers that drive growth and profitability.
Education & Experience / Skills:
Minimum: scientific background (medical/pharmacy/life science degree);
Minimum: 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry;
Field / Laboratory experience is an asset;
Solid scientific and oncology disease area knowledge;
English business proficient and fluent Polish;
Entrepreneurial mindset.
