Associate Certified Nursing Assistant – Orthopedic Surgery Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.  This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. Consequently, the employee must be competent in observing and reporting changes of condition to a licensed nurse or follow organization, unit, or individual care plan to provide person-centered care appropriate to the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial and chronological maturation process. The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants.Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year experience in nursing home or hospital experience.
