Purpose of Role: We are hiring an Associate buyer to join our Procurement team, responsible for procurement of direct materials for WME across our global network. This is a development opportunity in a fast paced environment for a professional to develop their career

Identify opportunities to improve overall Supply Base effectivenessCreate and maintain commercial information on SAP systemDevelop stocking policies with supply base and implement best practise delivery systems through SAPBe part of the team and help to Develop procurement strategies for direct spend Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Demonstrable track record in Supply Chain environmentFamiliar with manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements Example 1 SAP (or similar MRP system) skill is desirableExcellent communication skills and experience working in cross functional teamsWe are Weir!
