Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate, Structures Design to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will contribute to the design and analysis of structural systems for various building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local building codes and standards.

Perform structural analysis and design calculations for building components using specialized softwareDevelop and review structural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or RevitCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP systemsConduct site visits to assess existing structures and gather necessary information for projectsAssist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholdersStay updated on industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practicesSupport senior engineers in project management tasks and client communicationsParticipate in quality control processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 8 years of experience in structural engineering or a related fieldProficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.ProStrong skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit for developing structural drawingsSolid understanding of building codes and standards, particularly those applicable in SingaporeExcellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detailStrong problem-solving abilities and efficient work habitsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of various construction materials and methodsFamiliarity with sustainable design principlesProfessional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not requiredAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices
