The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for executing the business’s innovation pipeline. You will lead cross-functional teams from product platform ideation to launch, identifying key consumer insights/need gaps and defining the best way to bring them to market. Additionally, you will manage the P&L for respective platforms and track in-market performance for success. This position requires someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and eager to play a critical role on our Foods team.
A Day in the Life...
Lead execution of innovation projects including product concept development, packaging design, pricing, positioning and customer sell inChampion project progression at business Stage Gate process; develop and present presentations to committee to inform, recommend and gain alignment on active projectsPartner with cross functional team(s) from innovation ideation to commercialization, including:Project Management to align on timeline and key milestones for projects; work together to problem solve hurdles and changes to project timeline as appropriateConsumer & Category Insights to bring together trends, competitive intel, analytic data and consumer learnings to make key decisions on innovation concept development and commercializationR&D and Culinary to translate conceptual ideas into product deliverablesOperations and Supply Chain to validate commercial and production viabilityFinance to develop/establish a P&L that meets business innovation hurdlesBrand elevation & design team on packaging design, messaging, and product launch marketing activationGo-to-market and Sales teams to develop strong sell-in materials for various channels (such as retail, foodservice, ecommerce)Manage project P&Ls and overall innovation budget including A&P spending for assigned product responsibilityAssess key market/competitor dynamics, customer, and consumer trends to stay abreast of competitive landscape and opportunity gaps to identify innovation trajectory and growth opportunitiesWork with sales and planning teams to deliver monthly Innovation forecast accuracy. Track in-market performance to ensure meeting identified KPIsSupport innovation strategy for the Foods BusinessWhat We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred3+ years of relevant experience (food/beverage or CPG Marketing preferred)Strong analytical skills: ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a planKeen strategic thinking, collaboration, problem solving, teaming, and project execution skillsComfortable with ambiguityPassionate and curiousExcellent organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at one-timeAbility to partner and solve problems by leveraging multiple function supportStrong presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories and in presenting them at all levels within partner, customer, and internal organizationExcellent communication skillsWillingness to travel 10%Education:
