Job Description:

The Associate Automotive Supervisor position maintains a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient fleet of vehicles. The incumbent assists management with the use and care of physical assets, controls cost, manages external vendor relationships, works closely with auto technicians and internal customers and performs regular equipment and facility audits.

Job Level: Supervisor

Internal Salary Grade: 20D

Work Schedule: Day Shift, flexible start times

Responsibilities:

Schedules maintenance, monitors repairs, expenses and inventory levels, and checks vehicle performance and safety.

Analyzes cost of labor hours, adheres to purchase limits, and follows expense approval procedures.

Interview processing and administrative duties

Follows equipment disposal guidelines working with fleet manager.

Participates in required webinars and workshops to evaluate proficiency in areas of responsibility and drive improvement.

Participates in mentoring programs to enhance professional development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

General technical knowledge of tools and methods to maintain and repair equipment and machinery

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week including evenings

Ability to supervise small group of technicians

Must be 21 years of age

Must have a valid driver's license
