**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Associate Architect with 9 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React JS and Node JS and it is a plus if they have experience in Life and Annuities Insurance. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Lead the design and development of scalable web applications using React JS and Node JS. + Oversee the implementation of best practices in coding and architecture. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. + Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. + Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. + Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. + Develop and maintain technical documentation. + Ensure the security and integrity of the application. + Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. **Qualifications** + Must have strong experience in React JS and Node JS. + Should have a solid understanding of web development principles. + Must possess excellent problem-solving skills. + Should have experience in agile development methodologies. + Nice to have experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain. + Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Should be able to work independently and as part of a team. **Certifications Required** Certified React Developer Certified Node.js Developer Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
