Job overview and responsibilities

The Technical Operations Reliability team ensures United operates safely and dependably by analyzing aircraft defects and operational disruptions. The team monitors trends to notify maintenance and engineering teams of emerging issues and probable corrective actions. The Associate Analyst will aim to provide accurate information and useful insights to help multiple divisions make better data-driven decisions.

Provide accurate and useful data on time including, but not limited to, identifying ATA codes for tech ops interruptions, identifying component/ condition/ other details for system failures, identifying top system failures, supporting fleet reliability meetingsRegulatory reporting and operational support, including dispositioning chronic itemsTracking fleet trends and highlighting potential issues by performing operational drill-downs

Supporting ongoing reliability/fleet initiatives, ad-hoc requests and reporting needs

Required:Bachelors degree in aeronautical engineering, aircraft maintenance, other engineering or related disciplines1 years of experience in aviation, or related fieldsKnowledge of aircraft systemsSuperior attention to accuracy and detailComfort with ambiguityStrong problem solving and analytical skillsMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred:Knowledge of aircraft fleet health and/or reliability programs preferredFamiliarity with using database querying tools, such as SQL, and data visualization/ reporting tools preferred
