Job overview and responsibilities

This role is responsible for providing financial support and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation for stations within the Hubs & NOC Business Office. Key responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, supporting monthly financial close reports and accrual log preparation, assisting with financial forecast & projection analysis. The position also involves performing accounting reconciliations, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and ensuring invoice & billing accuracy. Additionally, the role supports financial control activities at the station by conducting audits, ensuring compliance with company regulations and standards, and assisting with resolving action plans. The role also supports stations with essential ad-hoc assignments as needed, contributing to operational efficiency and risk mitigation across the stations.

Supporting stations & NOC with financial control standards and regulations, ensuring regulatory compliance is met at the stationProvides support for management by coordination and preparation of reports associated with personnel functionsAnalyzing cost trends and resource utilization and developing financial measurementsConducts assessments and audits to measure station financial control compliance with company policies and procedures across AO & NOC Business OfficePrepare monthly financial report for stations and assist with financial projection and variance analysisMaintain accurate and up to date financial records and invoice reconciliationsAssist with special projects

 

NOTE: This position is based at the AHSC - Arlington Heights Service Center located at 1421 W. Shure Dr., Arlington Heights IL 60004 and is considered a hybrid schedule, in-office 3 days a week however that may evolve with the needs of the company. This position is not eligible for relocation if you reside out of state, therefore relocating will be at your own expense.
 

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

High school diploma or equivalent+1 year of work experience which may include completion of at least one internship in a finance-related field or work experience in an analytical roleProficient in Microsoft Office primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and WordAbility to analyze and report out on dataStrong and positive communication skillsAbility to work with all levels of the organizationDetail orientedAbility to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situationsReliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the positionMust be willing and able to travel at least 50%Must be willing and able to work a hybrid work schedule, in-office 3 days a weekMust be willing and able to work at the Arlington Heights Service Center in Arlington Heights, ILMust be willing and able to relocate at your own expense if you reside out of stateMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field of study; or 2 years of relevant work experience1+ year experience in Airport OperationHyperion Planning, Oracle Financials experience
The base pay range for this role is $52,725.00 to $68,632.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
