Title and Summary
Associate AccountantOverviewThe LAC Controllers team is established to promote strong financial stewardship across the business, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results through disciplined practices and rigorous oversight. The team also upholds a robust internal control environment by driving operational excellence. In this job you’ll ensure alignment, accuracy and consistency of statutory books and oracle for all legal entities in the region.
Role Description:
•\tOn-going review of intercompany activity and determine courses of action in coordination with legal and tax personnel,
•\tAnalyze GAAP differences and determine appropriateness, errors needing correction, or identify timing differences,
•\tAlign statutory books with Oracle on both a historical and go forward basis,
•\tParticipate in monthly financial close process
•\tSpecial projects as needed.
All about you:
•\tUniversity degree in accounting
•\tRelevant experience in a Controllership or Accounting role (not Finance or FP&A)
•\tAdvanced knowledge of common analysis & modeling tools (Excel, Hyperion) as well as database management
•\tProblem solver and a strong team player with an eye for detail and focus on accuracy
•\tFluent in English (both spoken and written)
•\tWorks well under pressure, naturally curious and a fast learner
•\tPotential to grow into a Senior Controllership Accountant or managerial role in the near future
