As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for: + Doing tasks across different accounting areas (Cash Management, Accruals and Other GL) + Providing support to the team members in preparation of balance sheet reconciliation + Supporting team members in month-end process (including preparation & processing of journal entries) + Collaborating with representatives of other Akamai departments and functions + Ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls within the assigned scope of operations + Performing special projects or duties as required within the accounting department **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Be 4th or 5th year Student of all faculties with interest in Accounting or fresh alumni + Possess good Excel skills + Speak, write and read English language fluently + Demonstrate good analytical skills and be able to draw clear and relevant conclusions + Be strongly motivated to learn and demonstrate proactive approach + Be able to create clear and concise documentation **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
