Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **_Purpose of this role:_** The Sales Manager is responsible for managing business development activities with a primary focus on prospecting new opportunities in Food Safety products with a specific focus on Mycotoxin, Allergen, Food Pathogen, GMO, Sampling and Hygiene products. Defining and driving strategies and ensuring the achievement of sales, lead generation and pipeline growth is a key objective, the Sales manager will be responsible for revenue target for South india and will have a strong role in contributing to India region overall success. **_Key Responsibilities:_** 1. **Drive Sales and Technical Validations** in Regulatory Departments, Global and Regional Key Accounts across South India, working closely with cross-functional teams. 2. **Promote Romer Labs Product Portfolio** (Mycotoxin, Allergen, Pathogen, GMO, CytoQuant) through customer visits, marketing events, and with support from APAC regional teams. 3. **Collaborate with Distributors and Channel Partners** , manage quotations, and close orders via Salesforce.com, including special cases and projects. 4. **Manage Regional Global Key Accounts** to achieve targeted sales and growth in South India. 5. **Organize Product Demonstrations and Regional Workshops** , support customer validations, and execute experimental protocols for successful adoption. 6. **Support Marketing Campaigns** by developing sales materials, conducting training, building brand awareness, and engaging with key industry leaders. **_We bring:_** + A team of diverse employees who aren’t afraid to think outside of the box. + A truly global and collaborative team that cares about the experience of our employees. + The encouragement you need to develop and achieve personal growth. + A role that is crucial on projects and allows you to build your brand. + A caring and supportive environment where you’re empowered to grow and share your ideas. **_You Bring:_** 1. **Bachelor’s degree** in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, or a related field, with **6–8 years of experience** in sales and business development. 2. **Proven sales leadership** with a strong track record in achieving results and **managing channel partners** effectively. 3. **Strong closing skills** , with preference for candidates trained in **Customer Focus Selling** ; prior experience in **food safety diagnostic kits** is an advantage. 4. **Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills** , essential for engaging clients and stakeholders. 5. **Highly motivated and goal-oriented** , with a passion for the **food safety industry** and strong **networking capabilities** . 6. **Willing to travel frequently** as per business needs across the assigned region. **_The application process:_** Interested in this position?
